Cloud Transformation Lead

Key Role:

Play a leadership role in commercial’s Cloud capability, building a pipeline of business and repeatable methodologies that scale. Work on impactful and leading-edge Cybersecurity transformation engagements for top-tier commercial clients that deliver significant competitive advantages and differentiated Cybersecurity capabilities. Lead complex enterprise transformation projects that require new behaviors, new operational processes, and new cultures to protect commercial leaders from today’s and tomorrow’s Cybersecurity threats. Drive and execute activities, including conducting Cyber maturity assessments, identifying capability gaps based on established frameworks, such as NIST, and developing roadmaps and strategies to achieve a Cyber program that delivers enduring security readiness either pre- or post-incident. Facilitate and lead client and team meetings, interviews, and workshops, including visioning and conducting Cyber program design sessions. Guide executive-level clients through the organizational design, operating model, and technology decisions required to build an enterprise Cyber capability, including people, process, technology, and data and provide hands-on implementation assistance, coaching, and advising the client on new ways of doing business. Analyze the development of prioritization strategies and project plans and manage task execution across a portfolio of projects, including executive progress reporting. Participate in a collaborative team environment and a dynamic client environment, work with clients, stakeholders, and Booz Allen leaders to form cross-functional teams that deliver results, and work on Cyber analytics or digital transformations. This position requires extensive travel up to 80% to both national and international client locations.

Basic Qualifications:

-7+ years of experience with strategy or technology consulting for commercial clients

-3+ years of experience with shaping Cloud strategy and transformation engagements

-Experience with strategy design, capability building, organizational design and change, and presenting and communicating to teams, executives, and clients, including conducting briefings and leading client- and team-based discussions

-Experience with leading teams to structure and drive complex, large-scale transformation programs

-Experience with guiding and facilitating organizations through the adoption of new technologies, including assessing, designing, or implementing technology solutions

-Experience with common and emerging technologies and tools, including using Cybersecurity and analytics tools to inform stakeholder discussions and business strategy decisions

-Ability to facilitate and build consensus at the executive level that can connect a security organization (CISO) with business executives (CEO)

-Ability to shape, design, and produce deliverables independently within a short time frame in a collaborative team environment, including transformation roadmaps and analyses of change management plans

-Ability to travel between 75-90% of the time

-BA or BS degree 

Additional Qualifications:

-2+ years of experience in the Cybersecurity field

-Experience with assessing and implementing security programs or specific capabilities, including governance, incident response, threat intelligence, security monitoring, training, and awareness

-Experience with visual design or representing ideas visually

-Knowledge of Cybersecurity and Cyber standards and frameworks, including NIST

-Knowledge of human-centered design tactics and techniques to inform program design or design thinking certification

-Ability to employ Agile practices in the context of implementing a transformation

-Possession of excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills

-MA, MS, or MBA degree preferred

-Change Management Certification, including CMAP or Prosci
