ServiceNow Developer

Key Role:

Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions by using out-of-the-box features to create custom pages, site templates, features, and Web parts. Write custom code to create and deploy ServiceNow solutions, as needed. Customize and brand ServiceNow sites, configure workflows, and customize lists, pages, and forms using ServiceNow. Support installation and configuration of ServiceNow instances in Cloud environments. Foster user adoption of ServiceNow by demonstrating ServiceNow features and technologies to clients and enabling the conversion of business requirements into solutions. Document system processes and procedures in a clear manner. Discuss requirements with clients and follow internal and client-specific protocols used to document and design ServiceNow sites, templates, structure, and taxonomy development required to develop and implement solutions using ServiceNow. Participate in all facets of the software development life cycle, including requirements solicitation and documentation, system and acceptance testing, and training, as needed.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience with leveraging ServiceNow's features to customize, develop, or configure solutions for clients

  • Experience with workflow configuration in ServiceNow

  • Knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM out-of-the-box asset management and CMDB product model architecture

  • Ability to convert legacy system data into ServiceNow's HRSD module

  • Ability to use ServiceNow to implement portals and collaborative solutions for clients

  • Ability to use jQuery or JavaScript to implement solutions using ServiceNow's client object model and web services 

  • Ability to show successful implementation of ServiceNow in an enterprise environment

  • Ability to analyze business requirements and leverage ServiceNow capabilities to solve client problems

  • Secret clearance

  • Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with database modeling and concepts, performance points, reporting services, business data catalogs, and business connectivity services

  • Experience with Agile Software Development Life Cycle methodology

  • Experience with object-oriented programming concepts

  • Ability to work in a team environment and offer or support ideas

  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $67,600.00 to $154,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
