Defense Mission Leader

Key Role:

Drive strategic and functional growth in the South Korea market and provide overall leadership and support for all contractor personnel assigned to contracts and programs, including assigning tasks to personnel, supervising ongoing technical efforts, and managing overall performance. Maintain responsibility for the quality and efficiency of programs, including technical issues, delivery, and business processes, and apply strategic acumen and technical expertise as a results-oriented, innovative business leader with a primary focus on bringing new capabilities, applications, and services to the market and developing new modes of business evolution and growth. Work as a thought leader and provide capabilities and solutions that generate significant revenue, business, and industry performance and enable idea generation through collaborative platforms and formats, including innovation labs, hackathons, and crowdsourcing. Help account teams identify and apply new capabilities that are potentially relevant in their client space and establish a standard for, and drive, exceptional delivery and continue to revisit and refine the workforce development strategy to ensure scaling of key experiences and skill sets and developing future leaders while interacting directly with multiple senior market level leaders on strategy. Maintain a broad, collaborative network across the firm. This position will require occasional travel to CONUS and OCONUS locations. 

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience leading large teams and programs, developing strategies, and growing business 
  • Experience working across technology and analytics capabilities 
  • Experience mentoring, developing, and managing highly productive leaders and a team that can win new business, develop solutions, and lead large-scale, complex captures and proposals 
  • Experience in a DoD or U.S. government environment, including managing technical integration and solution delivery issues 
  • Experience leading large-scale technical programs 
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a matrixed environment and apply a track record as a business leader and innovator 
  • Ability to align solutions with business needs and create innovative approaches to address client requirements 
  • TS/SCI clearance  
  • Bachelor’s degree 

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with thought leadership across the technology ecosystem and the federal cybersecurity community, including DoD and civilian community
  • Experience implementing innovative and differentiated cybersecurity solutions, leveraging emerging technology, automation and orchestration, AI or ML, and cloud 
  • Experience with DoD logistics and mobility platforms 
  • Experience leading large-scale transformation or modernization programs for the DoD 
  • Experience with DevOps and DevOps strategy development 
  • Experience with enterprise architecture in a U.S. government environment 
  • Possession of excellent management and analytical skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $139,400.00 to $259,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
