Field Computer Specialist

Key Role:

Help to diagnose and resolve computer-related problems as requested by employees and contractors, either in person or by using remote control software. Respond to telephone calls and e-mail requests for technical support. Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve problems with business applications and hardware on all enclaves. Perform general maintenance tasks and resolve less complex problems immediately, while more complex issues are communicated to a higher level of support. Document all work in appropriate problem-tracking software accurately.

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience with well-rounded general computer system, network administration work, and user support

-Experience with customer service

-Experience with IT, including installation, operation, configuration, and maintenance of multiple types of business and end user-specific application software in a large government installation

-Experience with a variety of technical support applications, concepts, practices, and procedures

-TS/SCI clearance

-HS diploma or GED

-Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) Certification

-Security + Certification

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with IT in supporting Department of the Navy or NCIS preferred

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
