Information Operations Planner

Key Role:

Assist with developing and establishing the ability to conduct information operations (IO) to support deployed teams and other organizations. Provide IO analysis, planning, and targeting support to augment designated commands during training, exercises, and deployments. Support IO planning using various processes, including the Joint Operation Planning and Execution System (JOPES) and Marine Corps Planning Process (MCPP). Execute task functions require proven capability to provide support commensurate to 0-4/0-5 level, including interaction with MAGTF level audiences.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience with Information Operations (IO)

  • Experience with operations and planning at the O-4 level

  • TS/SCI clearance

  • BA or BS degree

  • Completion of Service or Joint IO Planning Course

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with providing reach-back support

  • Experience with exercise design and exercise support

  • Experience with collecting and submitting lessons learned

  • Completion of mid-level military schools such as Command and Staff College
