Lead Energy Technology Engineer

Key Role:

Performs detailed engineering analysis of client's energy resilience gaps and presents solutions. Applies leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts, contributes to the development of new principles and concepts. Works on unusually complex problems and provides highly innovative solutions. Operates with substantial latitude for unreviewed action or decision, mentors or supervises employees in both firm and technical competencies

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience with DoD acquisition programs or fielded capabilities

  • 5+ years of experience with project leadership or systems engineering

  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

  • Knowledge of technological aspects of DoD energy sources, including fuel, batteries, and future DoD energy initiatives, and energy consumers, including engines and generators

  • Ability to comprehend complex technical problems where capabilities are affected by technical achievability, affordability, and schedule

  • Ability to lead and collaborate with mixed teams comprised of government, academia, and industry personnel

  • Secret clearance

  • Bachelor's degree in a Science or Engineering field

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with the Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System, including Energy Supportability Analyses and Energy Key Performance Parameters

  • Knowledge of U.S. Marine Corps organization, doctrine, and employment

  • Master's degree a plus

  • INCOSE Certification, including CSEP or ESEP

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $106,200.00 to $242,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
