Job Description
Key Role:
Provide strategic air planning and subject matter expertise support to a component Air Force Division. Synchronize air component strategic plans and guidance with Air Force’s intent to achieve U.S. European Command (EUCOM) theater and campaign objectives. Analyze, design, and implement theater and contingency air operation plans, air operations directives, and branch and sequel plans in support of the Air Force. Prepare recommendations and facilitate the development of U.S. and multi-national operational solutions, including contingency crisis action planning and operational execution tactics, techniques, and procedures in support of EUCOM assigned missions. Provide support to multiple end users in the European theater by synchronizing projects, tasks, actions, briefings, and programs across multiple directorates, Wings, Program Offices, and Major Commands. Use Air Force and joint operational doctrine and publications, provide analytical support for the development of operations plans, policy, and procedures for Air Force and deployed forces supporting air component operations, activities, and investments in the AOR. Provide analytical support for the creation and staffing of air component policy and plans, including building high-quality graphics, documents, briefings, and products suitable for senior leader decision making and approvals.
Basic Qualifications:
-3+ years of experience as a qualified strategic planner at a major staff or component headquarters
-Experience with developing, writing, and articulating multi-national objectives
-Experience with producing senior-officer level presentations, briefings, and background papers
-Experience with creating and editing detailed and well researched strategic documents and plans designed to coordinate and execute theater and regional operations and exercises
-Ability to take the initiative and solve problems and provide expert advice on complex issues related to theater operations, investments, and activities
-TS/SCI clearance
-Bachelor's degree
-Active passport with at least 6 months validity for the purposes of visa applications
Additional Qualification:
-Experience with analyzing international policy and security regarding air and missile defense
-Experience with EUCOM force structure and DoD component commands
-Experience as an Air Battle Manager (13B) or rated officer
-Experience in the Intelligence community
-Knowledge of the European Theater of Operations plans, exercises, and threats
-Knowledge of the DoD planning, programming, and budgeting processes and the Joint requirements development and approval process
-Master's degree
-Military Advanced Studies Graduate
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $106,200.00 to $242,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.Work Model
