We’re looking for a systems administrator who will analyze users’ requirements, concept of operation documents, and high level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications, analyze system requirements, and lead design and development activities. You’ll provide technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology. You’ll incorporate new plans, designs, and systems into ongoing operations and develop system architecture and system design documentation. You’ll guide system development and implementation planning through the assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans. You’ll interact with the client regarding systems engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues, or conflicts. You’ll maintain responsibility for the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the systems engineering area of responsibility and communicate with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives.

As a systems administrator on our project, you’ll guide users in formulating requirements, advise alternative approaches, and conduct feasibility studies. You’ll provide your customers insight into their network through monitoring and performance management. Your technical expertise will be vital as you identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission critical network. You’ll help your team better understand the network by turning metrics into information and explaining their meaning. We focus on growing as a team, so you’ll share your expertise through leadership and mentoring as you help the team work through challenges and develop new methodologies. You Have:

-8+ years of experience with IT systems administration and engineering, including responsibilities related to maintaining high systems availability and secure systems posture, such as patching and maintenance.

-Experience with designing, deploying, managing, and configuration virtual and physical workstation environments using Windows 7 and above and Microsoft SCCM

-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph required

-HS diploma or GED required​

-DoD 8570 Certification, including Security+, CASP, CISSP, or CISM

Nice if you Have:

-Experience with deploying, configuring, and managing enterprise configuration and application management solutions using Microsoft SCCM

-Experience with deploying, configuring, and managing enterprise solutions for Windows 7, 8, and 10

-Experience with the management and operational use of systems monitoring tools, including SolarWinds, Splunk, or Microsoft SCOM

-Experience with developing and enhancing operational procedures and new innovative solutions to address current and emerging IT challenges

-Knowledge of ITIL change managements and problem management best practices

-Ability to work independently and as a team member to solve difficult technical challenges on a global scale

-BA or BS degree in CS, Computer Engineering, or Network Engineering

-Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) in Server 2012 or Server 2012R2 or Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) in Server 2012 or Server 2012 R2 Certification

-VMware Certified Professional (VCP-DTM) or VMware Certified Advanced Professional (VCAP-DTM) Certification

-PMP, ITILv3, RCSA, or RCSE Certification
