The Opportunity:

We’re looking for someone like you to help our clients meet their mission by overseeing all IT Operations, supporting global defense.

As a IT Director on our team, the primary function is working within Special Access Programs (SAPs) supporting Department of Defense (DoD) agencies, such as HQ Air Force and Military Compartments efforts. The position will provide “day-to-day” support for Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and Special Access Program (SAP) activities. You will oversee the delivery of the most advanced digital solutions. As you guide your team, you’ll partner with clients to oversee IT operations to include but not limited to: network management, hardware, software management, write, reviews, and makes recommendations for Standard Operating Procedures, vulnerability assessment, project management, capturing, reporting statistical data and performance of the IT team, and manage incident response. You’ll move quickly in an exciting and fluid environment to lead the Agile development of a project roadmap, establish project milestones, and implement metrics to track progress, while bringing people together to make a tangible difference. You Have: 

  • 10+ years of experience in IT

  • 5+ years of experience in supervisory roles

  • Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware and VDI

  • Knowledge of Local Area Network (LAN), Wide Area Network (WAN) technologies and data backup technologies including communication security (COMSEC) integration

  • Knowledge of Risk Management Framework, Common Criteria, and System Security Policy as they relate to C&A

  • Knowledge of the JSIG

  • Ability to operate as highest-level technical expert, providing both internal and external consulting services

  • Ability to implement the use of Active Directory, Group Policy, and security hardening

  • Secret clearance

  • HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have: 

  • 2+ years of experience with SAP or IC

  • Experience as a Scrum Master

  • Experience with PL1 and PL2 systems

  • Experience with PL3 and PL4 cross domain solutions

  • Experience as an ISSO, ISSM, SCA, IT Manager, or IT Director

  • Knowledge of DoD systems and networks

  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Bachelor's degree

  • TS/SCI clearance

  • PMP Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $73,100.00 to $166,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
