Cloud Security SME

Key Role:

Define, communicate, and implement security architecture and administration processes for all platforms. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction, mentors and may supervise team members.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience with administering, implementing, and supporting complex enterprise or government IT systems or networks
  • 2+ years of experience in working with AWS, Azure, or private Cloud environments in production
  • Experience with designing and implementing network security solutions, including firewalls, intrusion detection, encryption, monitoring, vulnerability scanning, and authentication
  • Experience with the full software or systems development life cycle, including requirements analysis, design, integration, testing, and implementation
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP networking concepts and technologies
  • Knowledge of DevSecOps Reference Design
  • Ability to automate the provisioning and configuration of Cloud–based environment
  • Top Secret clearance
  • BA or BS degree
  • Security+ Certification

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with deploying and administering Web application firewalls, IPS and IDS, and next generation firewalls
  • Experience with Terraform, Istio, Docker, Kubernetes, GitLab, or Ansible
  • Experience with implementing data at rest and data in transit encryption capabilities
  • Knowledge of federal IT and Cloud security policies, including FISMA, FedRAMP, NIST 800–53, and DoD Cloud SRG and applying them to Cloud security architectures
  • Knowledge of software development methodologies in one or more of the following languages: .NET, Java, PHP, Perl, Python, or Ruby
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • AWS Associate Level Certification
