Cyber Content Development Trainer

Key Role:

Apply defensive Cyber operations analysis expertise to local host, including Windows, Linux, and other nonstandard operating systems. Train Cyber Protection Team operators on how Defensive Cyberspace Operations (DCO) implement proactive and reactive security measures to ensure the operational availability of enterprise networks and the uninterrupted flow of mission-critical information. Analyze and integrate Cyberspace operational tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP) internal and external to the organization, including playbooks, the development of theater net-centric strategies, NetOps situational awareness operations, and a NetOps Concept of Operations (CONOPS) that will ensure data and systems are protected. Provide technical engineering services to train CPT members how to identify vulnerabilities in operating systems for the support of integrated security systems and solutions. Interface with the client in the strategic design process to translate security and business requirements into training.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience with developing and delivering Cyberspace operations support for Combatant Command or Major Command processes and procedures

  • Knowledge of Cybersecurity and Cyberspace operations, including Joint publications, doctrines, and policy implementations

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint

  • Ability to formulate recommendations for corrective actions to address identified risks and support CPT training

  • TS/SCI clearance

  • Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of experience with Cyberspace operations in lieu of a degree

  • DoD 8570-01-M Compliance IAT-II Certification, including GSEC, Security+ CE, or SSCP Certification

Nice If You Have:  

  • 3+ years of experience with DCO

  • Experience with intelligence support to cyber operations, specifically All Source processes, products and SIGINT to support cyber operations

  • Knowledge of the configuration of operating systems, including Windows, Linux, and UNIX

  • Knowledge of modern computer systems, including client and server, LAN/WAN and network concepts, and modern network management and security monitoring concepts

  • Knowledge of how to implement security patching

  • Ability to manage and monitor various host based security components, devices, and services

  • Ability to advise on network security issues and enforce network security and vulnerability mitigation policies and procedures

  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills for interacting with customers

  • Possession of excellent project management and organization skills, including drafting clear and concise reports and briefing daily network security summaries and related issues and concerns to senior leaders and a larger audience

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $49,900.00 to $102,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
