SecureView Tier II Engineer

Key Role:

Support day-to-day remote technical aspects of product operational data to identify diagnostic issues in enough detail to determine if the root cause is hardware- or software-related. Apply advanced consulting and extensive technical expertise, and full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction and mentor and supervise team members.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience with deployment, field support, and help desk support of SecureView (SV) accredited cross-domain software
  • 3+ years of experience working with a team of technical professionals and end users to fulfill the mission and execute contracts for hardware deployment and administration, including architecture design and review, cabling requirements, server installs, IT staging, deployment, site testing and acceptance, and quality control
  • Experience with Linux administration, virtualization, basic networking, Windows 10 or higher administration and troubleshooting, or virtual private networking
  • Knowledge of all aspects of the deployment, including the initial customer engagement, planning, installation, accreditation test, and follow on customer support
  • Ability to maintain responsibility for the deployment of accredited versions of hardware and software into U.S. government organizations, networks, and facilities
  • Ability to comprehend the end users’ expectations and manage customer needs scope creep and the deployment and administration preferences of the team to assure compliance and balance effectively
  • Top Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with cross-domain technologies
  • Experience in an Agile software development environment
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows OS server and client, UNIX, Linux, or scripting
  • Experience with Microsoft products, including Active Directory, Office, SharePoint, or Outlook
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Level 2 IAT Level II Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $65,300.00 to $149,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
