Business Analytics Consultant, Mid

Key Role:

Provide analysis and consulting to help support government clients with a wide range of data-related challenges, ranging from improving mission outcomes, measuring risk, optimizing financial decisions, to strengthening data management approaches. Analyze data to recommend efficiencies, policy changes and improved outcomes. Visualize data to help policymakers tell compelling stories and bring about disruptive innovation and organizational transformation. Consult with stakeholders to help improve data management and enable effective business intelligence and enable data science and AI/ML techniques to take hold and flourish within the government context. Build predictive analytics, dashboards, metrics and actionable reports based on data analysis and data wrangling. Apply a passion for people and problem solving to help enable government to better leverage a wide range of technology and data management tools to support more timely and efficient government outcomes.

Basic Qualifications:

-3+ years of experience with using data to drive business decisions

-Experience with Tableau, Qlik, or PowerBI

-Experience with M365 Power Platform capabilities, including Dataverse, Power Apps and Power Automate

-Experience with structuring data for analysis, analyzing transformed data, and providing actionable recommendations through effective and compelling data storytelling

-Knowledge of business analysis or business intelligence expertise

-Ability to connect the dots and dig deeper to uncover stories and trends in data with a keen eye for detail

-Ability to work collaboratively and effectively across different functional groups

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-Bachelor's degre

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with SQL, R, SAS, or Python

-Experience with data structures, and systems in a DoD environment

-Bachelor's degree in a technical field preferred, Master's degree in an analytical field a plus
