Job Description
Key Role:
Lead the development and sustainment of processes and methodologies for software defined radio (SDR) waveform cyber resiliency analysis. Perform cyber resiliency analysis on candidate waveforms hosted on tactical SDRs and ensure that the security requirements of communications systems are met. Develop and review technical whitepapers, presentations, and reports supporting cyber resiliency tasks. Maintain technical relationships with external vendors and DoD organizations involved in the acquisition, development, security evaluation, and testing of tactical SDR waveforms.
Basic Qualifications:
5+ years of experience with radio and waveform systems engineering
5+ years of experience with systems engineering
3+ years of experience with engineering in Cyber Electromagnetic Warfare Activities design, development, or test
3+ years of experience with the design, development, and test of DoD tactical waveforms, wireless communications networks, SDRs, RF communications, and data or network secure communications
2+ years of experience with supporting a DoD Program Management Office (PMO)
Experience with assessing existing communications system resiliency vulnerabilities and determining mitigating strategies
Secret clearance
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Systems Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems
Additional Qualifications:
Experience with DoD Radio TRANSEC techniques and technologies
Experience with DoD Electronic Warfare defensive technologies and techniques
Experience with Radio Frequency (RF) communications, including electromagnetic spectrum management
Experience with DoD technology protection policies and procedures, including supply chain risk management (SCRM)
Experience with High Assurance and Type 1 Device Design
Top Secret clearance preferred; TS/SCI clearance a plus
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Systems Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems
DoD Directive 8570 Certification, including Security+ or CISSP
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $73,100.00 to $166,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.Work Model
