General Management Consultant, Mid

Key Role:

Provide both quantitative and qualitative analysis and recommendations to improve organizational performance through changes to strategy, organization structure, process, human capital and culture, IT, enterprise cost reduction, management practices, and cost drivers. Consult on identifying and capitalizing on opportunities to improve the client’s performance, including revenue, profitability, and mission achievements. Improve operations and increase process efficiency. Examine less complex systems and consult on the development of specific cost reduction solutions and business case analyses to support transformation efforts. Serve as a practitioner with more than one area of expertise in the management consulting pillars and other functional communities.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience with data management and SharePoint
  • Experience with supporting Integrated Process Teams (IPTs)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • Knowledge of DoD Acquisition and Engineering processes
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities, exhibit self-management, and be comfortable synthesizing large amounts of information to organizational leaders 
  • Ability to identify ways to solve complex business issues
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with DoD and Navy organizations preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Project and Visio
  • Knowledge of DoD Planning, Programming, and Budgeting Execution (PPB)
  • Knowledge of DoD Systems Engineering and Naval Technical Authority
  • Knowledge of the systems development life cycle, and Navy Cybersecurity Technical Authority (CS TA) Standards
  • Ability to develop a high-level comprehension of the organization’s mission and domain
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
  • Possession of excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
  • MBA degree
