Job Description
The Opportunity:
As a scrum master, you’re passionate about outcomes and supporting a development team that’s modernizing, growing, and creating efficiency in critical projects. You know the importance of Agile best practices and how to combat challenges early to get work done. You also know that a healthy team culture is the key to a high functioning team. We need an experienced scrum master like you to create solutions that’ll provide the Navy with a data analytics platform that delights its users.

In this role, you'll work with the product owners and data engineers to document requirements in JIRA, including Epics, or Tasks, and help facilitate Scrum with the larger team by ensuring a solid Scrum foundation exists within your teams. You will analyze business processes and work with the project team to implement and improve processes. As a Scrum master, you will partner with the Product Owners to support short and long-term product planning and to keep the product backlog healthy and prepared for execution. Support requirements validation and meet with various stakeholders to discuss needs and provide suggestions during stakeholder interviews and requirements gathering. Be a servant leader who regularly encourages collaboration, transparency, and innovation through team scrums, sprint planning, sprint reviews or demonstrations, and sprint retrospectives.
