This role is more than just coding. We need a developer who will use their passion to learn new tools and techniques and identify and implement system improvements. On our team, you’ll help customers overcome their most difficult challenges using Docker container systems, REST, and React architectures and frameworks. Using C++ and Python languages you’ll work with the development team to build Government Off the Shelf products complex system. You’ll help make sure the solution you’re developing considers the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements. You Have:
1+ years of experience with developing software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users, studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes, investigating problem areas, and following the software development lifecycle
1+ years of experience in a professional environment developing software using C, C++, Python, and JavaScript, including NodeJS
1+ years of experience using software assurance tools, including SonarQube, Checkmarx, or CodeValor
Knowledge of Agile software development practices
Experience with unit testing
Secret clearance
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Computer Engineering
Nice If You Have:
Experience with functional and operational testing
Experience with integration of software products on Linux systems
Experience with building, running, and maintaining Docker containers
Experience with presenting software analysis recommendations to technical committee or configuration control board
Knowledge of all phases of scientific and engineering projects, including research, design, development, testing, modeling, simulating, training, and documentation
Ability to design and build related databases, perform data access analysis design, and archive design, implementation, and management
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $58,300.00 to $133,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.Work Model
