Test and Evaluation Engineer

The Opportunity:

When a user tries new software and hardware platforms, they expect it to be intuitive and run smoothly. Functionality, reliability, and user experience are key to successful software development—and that means rigorous testing. That’s why we need you, a test engineer who knows how to thoroughly test software and hardware products and work with developers to make sure our team releases the best products possible.

As a test engineer on our team, you’ll work with testers, developers, and engineers as part of a team evaluating products developed for national defense. You’ll help develop a test plan with test cases based on user stories. Using both automated and manual processes and automation to streamline, you’ll generate data and implement the test cases to observe how the software performs, then document the results and communicate defects to the development team so they can start improving the tool. You’ll automate continuous security and performance testing and monitor the health of mission planning, and command and control systems.

This is an opportunity to shape your skills by writing the procedures, processes, and automation code to test. You’ll also build experience in large scale complex defense systems and learn about areas such as test automation from your team.

Work with us as we develop software solutions to secure our defense networks and platforms.
