You Have:
- 8+ years of experience implementing and managing Windows Server solutions in an enterprise environment
- Experience managing user and computer objects within Active Directory
- Knowledge of managing and configuring storage protocols, including iSCSI, SMB, and DFS
- Ability to design, implement, and manage Windows server operating systems, support software or services in both Windows and VMware infrastructure, and provide senior level expertise on decisions and priorities regarding the enterprise's overall systems architecture
- Ability to support server infrastructure, including blade chassis, blade and rack servers, and the associated management services, assess hardware and software technology and its applicability to our environment, and make recommendations for acquisitions, engineering, and configuration changes
- Ability to manage customer projects, including design, implementation, and upgrades, and work with customers to understand and implement application requirements
- Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and issues, and application deployment issues, and develop and update documentation on supported services managed and procedures
- Secret clearance
- HS diploma or GED
- Ability to obtain Security+ Certification before hire date
Nice If You Have:
- Experience in HA clustered application or SQL environments from a server build and operations perspective
- Experience deploying, maintaining, and supporting high performance Windows systems, and with automation of server deployment, common tasks, and procedures
- Experience with VMware virtual server environments and configuring systems for maximum performance and operating flexibility
- Knowledge of networking technologies, particularly as they pertain to managing Windows systems and applications running on these systems
- Ability to lead by understanding the Navy’s IT Modernization Cloud initiative and developing strategies and tactics required by the organization
- Ability to deploy guest Windows servers in a VMware virtual environment
- Ability to perform as a technical leader and maintain a positive attitude while working in a dynamic, fast paced environment
- Possession of strong operating system administration skills
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, or a related field
- CSWF and CE Certification, including Security+ or Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) Certifications

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $81,800.00 to $186,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.Work Model
