Key Role:
Apply knowledge of database architecture, cataloging, and searchability to support order of battle identification and analysis. Perform research, contribute to the preparation of analytical and technical reports and publications, prepare graphics, and maintain hard or soft copy files, including target folders, film files, collateral files, and other publications. Create and maintain databases, summary data, spreadsheets, and graphic documents, and maintain Interlink web sites, as an intelligence professional. Utilize Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to extract or access geospatial information, derivative information, and multi-intelligence data to provide requirements, currency, accuracy, readiness, responsiveness, data integrity, and relevancy recommendations that support the analysis and visualization of geospatial data available for use by the military, intelligence, and policy-making communities. Adapt existing software applications, tools, and data to meet new requirements for your customer. Support the production and quality assurance of Softcopy Keys (SCK) materials. Ensure that the image interpretation keys are relevant to GEOINT analysis by partnering with Subject Matter Experts (SME) to create and modernize the data as appropriate. Maintain SCK image interpretation materials with the addition of new information and imagery products, the production of newly created records, and perform quality assurance or control measures. Interact with SMEs across the Intelligence Community through various means such as face-to-face meetings, email correspondence, or phone conversations, or by attending and participating in Keys-related Communities of Practice (CoP). Respond to all customer imagery submissions, feedback, and information requests within a timely manner, and prepare or aid in the preparation of presentations on Softcopy Keys for representatives from the Intelligence Community, Services, Commands, and Commonwealth when export control approval is received. Assist the SCK Government Point of Contact (GPOC) with CONOPS, Standards of Practice, and SCK records standard revisions, and participate in or assist with SCK training and familiarization within classroom environments, DoD technical training commands, and tradecraft CoPs. Ensure all work is conducted in accordance with classification and security guidance, develop and lead a geographically dispersed team, interact with and provide support to leadership and management, and prepare and deliver input for monthly progress and usage reports, validation, and throughput metrics reports.
Basic Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience using data mining techniques to develop, manipulate, and maintain databases
- 2+ years of experience creating visual aids, graphs, charts, editing, and proofreading documents for publishing
- 2+ years of experience with imagery analysis, digital cartography, GIS, Cartographic and Geospatial production techniques, remote sensing, photogrammetry, and digital data formats
- 2+ years of experience serving as an SME in the areas of program management, imagery analysis, imagery tasking, and serving geographically disbursed end-user accounts
- 2+ years of experience developing and leading highly-skilled and geographically disbursed technical and analytical teams
- Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
- Bachelor’s degree and 11+ years of experience in data science, or 20+ years of experience in data science in lieu of a degree
Additional Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience with GIS tools such as ArcView, ArcGIS, Remote View, ArcIMS, ERDAS Imagine, Macromedia Dreamweaver, Macromedia Fireworks, Photoshop, HTML, and FrameMaker
- 2+ years of experience interacting with and providing technical support to senior leaders such as General or Flag Officers, SES, or corporate leaders
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science, Data Science, or a related field preferred; Master’s degree in Library Science, Data Science, or a related field a plus
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
