Job Description
Key Role:
Develop and deliver deployment training to live audiences. Provide stand-up classroom and virtual instruction. Apply and understand specific requirements to prepare deployers in assessing threats, situational awareness, and criminal activity while working in high-threat regions. Cover a myriad of pre-deployment topics related to geospatial intelligence skills of analysts in expeditionary operations. Develop and contribute solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity, as well as insight into future deployment training products and capabilities. Work independently with some guidance and review or guide the activities of junior employees. This position will require travel within and outside the US, when necessary to accommodate client needs and is located in Springfield, VA.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience as a GEOINT analyst
Experience with instructing adult learners
Experience in deployment environments and providing analysis in various conditions and areas of responsibility
Ability to instruct classroom sizes of 20+ students both in person and virtually
Ability to travel up to 50% of the time to instruct classes 1-2 weeks at a time
Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
Bachelor’s degree or 6+ years of experience as an instructor, trainer, or analyst in lieu of a degree
Additional Qualifications:
Experience instructing pre-deployment classes
Experience with Geospatial-Intelligence Preparation of the Environment (GPE)
Experience with ARCGIS, QGIS, or an equivalent GIS system
Experience with Geospatial Repository and Data Management System (GRiD)
Experience with RemoteView, SOCET GXP, and QT Modeler
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $49,800.00 to $102,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.Work Model
