Job Number:
Contested Logistics Technology SME

The Opportunity:

As a defense mission professional, you ask questions others don’t. You understand the nuances of complex situations. You use your skills to think bigger and push further, solving complex problems. We’re looking for an expert like you to create solutions for missions that keep our nation safe.

As a Contested Logistics Technology SME, you’ll provide operational and strategic expertise for warfighting capability development, integration, and transition of new technologies that close time-critical gaps in high-priority, multi-component warfighting missions. You’ll develop strategies to define the end state vision for Contested Logistics, and help clients to develop and implement innovative process controls to minimize the deterioration of supply chains and logistics performance that go beyond traditional expediting. Use your extensive knowledge of the Strategic and Operational Logistics Challenges in the DoD combatant commands, including the INDOPACIFIC region. Work with DoD and the Services to build flexibility into critical supply chains by learning from commercial examples and partner with the private sector. You’ll develop strategies to use artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, cloud-based predictive analytics, and technology, combined with planning, to help sustain a logistics advantage. You’ll coordinate strategies and plans to use strategic alliance partners to prioritize and deliver product solutions, and display maturity and expertise balancing performance and mission impact against effective risk management and technical quality. You’ll build and lead teams that use AI expertise to address the government’s supply chain challenges. You’ll be a trusted advisor to our clients, and we’ll look to you to identify, analyze, and evaluate complex systems, policies, and processes.

You’ll guide the work we do for the Marine Corps and the solutions we deliver.
