IT Project Manager

​The Opportunity:

We’re looking for someone like you to help our clients meet their mission by supporting the projects and programs being designed to support the management and distribution of meteorological and oceanographic data necessary to ensure fleet readiness and safety.

In this role, you’ll manage and provide insight to command leadership on the delivery of advanced digital and data solutions. You’ll move quickly in an exciting and fluid environment to guide the Agile development of a project roadmap, establish project milestones, and implement metrics to track progress, while bringing people together to make a tangible difference.

You Have: 

  • 5+ years of experience in program or project management 

  • Experience executing using Agile methodologies 

  • Experience with project roadmaps and planning and tracking multiple, cross-functional teams 

  • Experience authoring and presenting executive level documentation and briefs

  • Experience with managing projects utilizing the Atlassian tool suite, including Jira

  • Experience in a flexible environment interacting with IT executives, business product owners, developers, and functional managers

  • Ability to identify risks proactively, recommend mitigating actions, and drive them to resolution

  • Ability to manage multiple competing tasks and work collaboratively across functional areas in support of client objectives to present and communicate analytical findings on an independent basis

  • Secret clearance

  • Bachelor's degree in a Business, Project Management, Meteorology, or Oceanography field

Nice If You Have:   

  • Experience with project management for DoD and DON related projects

  • Experience with DoD and DON Data Strategy and Policy

  • Experience with Data Management Book of Knowledge (DMBOK) 

  • Experience with commercial data maturity models

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $81,800.00 to $186,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
