Job Description
Key Role:
Work with us to provide technical expertise as a CBRN Plans, Policy, and Strategy Specialist, supporting deliberate and crisis action planning for theater contingency plans in the areas of CWMD and CBRN defense readiness. Assist with the formulation of CWMD or CBRN defense policy, guidance, and directives. Serve as a planning and policy SME and with the overall continuity for the preparation, publication, and execution of all plans, policy, and strategy concerning CBRN defense. Assist subordinate component commands in developing with CWMD or CBRN plans, policy, strategy, and guidance. Support the development of planning products in support of joint planning working groups and boards. Participate in CWMD or CBRN engagement activities with partner countries in support of leadership priorities. Support the development of command instructions, CWMD or CBRN specific deliberate plans, and the CWMD or CBRN related appendices and annexes for all other plans. Support exercises as an exercise controller or trusted agent. Coordinate CWMD or CBRN issues with service component commands, other Combatant Commands, OSD, Joint Staff, U.S. Government (USG) departments and agencies, and other military staffs.
Basic Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience with national and theater level CWMD and CBRN plans
- 2+ years of experience with the DoD at a Service Headquarters, Service Component Headquarters, Combatant Command, or Joint Staff
- Ability to expertly analyze impact on war plans, theater engagement, and activities associated with CWMD issues
- Ability to communicate CBRN concepts and risks to a broad audience, including GO, FO, or SES level audiences
- TS/SCI clearance
- Bachelor's degree
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience with DoD-level CWMD and CBRN Defense planning actions and activities
- Ability to negotiate critically relevant issues with counterparts from Service Components, military services, Joint Staff, and other stakeholders
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Possession of excellent IT skills, including using Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Adobe Acrobat to create reports, briefings, and documents
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
