Job Description
Key Role:
Apply expertise in CBRN and Force Health Protection (FHP) to support DoD protection function requirements and make recommendations on Combatant Command policy and plans. Assist client efforts focused on protection mechanisms that lead to early warning and response to CBRN threats by increasing collaboration for CBRN defense activities between HQ Staff, Service Components, and other DoD and non-DoD organizations, developing and maintaining relationships with host and partner nation counterparts for regional CBRN reporting, information sharing, and preparedness planning and exercises, improving CBRN collaboration with DoD combat support agencies and interagency partners, and coordinating CBRN protection capabilities for various threats in the AOR with regional and international medical, intelligence, and CBRN counterparts. Conduct mission analysis and assist with integration of CBRN and FHP policies and plans into OPLAN and CONPLAN Protection annexes and appendices. Coordinate with other CCMDs Joint Directorates to provide inputs and obtain outputs from OPTs and working groups. Identify CBRN and FHP Protection program requirements and programmatic shortfalls and submit those to the Protection Joint Capability Area Portfolio Manager (JCAPM) to ensure those requirements and shortfalls are included on the Integrated Priority List (IPL) and Program Budget Review (PBR). Provide SME in the risk management process and provide DOTmLPF changes to overcome CBRN and FHP capability gaps.
Basic Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in CBRN mission areas
- 2+ years of experience facilitating FHP or Pandemic Influenza and Infectious Disease (PI&ID) activities
- 2+ years of experience with the military or DoD at a Service Headquarters, Service Component Headquarters, or Combatant Command
- Experience with USEUCOM and Service Component Theater Campaign Plans
- Experience in IT creating reports, briefings, and documents using Microsoft Office products, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Adobe Acrobat
- Ability to communicate CBRN and FHP concepts and risks to a broad audience, including GO, FO, and SES level audiences
- TS/SCI clearance
- Bachelor's degree
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience in the full range of planning, developing, coordinating, executing, and analyzing various DoD plans
- Knowledge of JP 3-0, JP 3-11, JP 3-40, and JP 3-41
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $81,800.00 to $186,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.Work Model
