CIP and COP Integration Engineer

The Opportunity: 

Are you looking for an opportunity to help create technical synergy that will modernize, secure, and create efficiencies for Combatant Commands? As a Common Intelligence Picture/Common Operational Picture (CIP/COP) Integration Engineer, you know the importance of ensuring key systems, data feeds, and interfaces work together.  You’re eager to apply your consulting experience and national security expertise to develop creative solutions.     

On our team, you’ll design, develop, and implement solutions for integration projects across functions or between organizations that will directly impact Combatant Commands’ CIP and COP. Using an Agile Framework, you’ll work alongside software development engineers and enterprise architects to integrate data feeds from critical mission systems of record. You’ll use tools like FADE/MIST, Bodhi, and ESRI to plan, organize, and conduct integration projects that meet design specifications and standards from inception to completion.  

In this role, you’ll impact Combatant Commands’ CIP and COP by ensuring interoperability between operation and intelligence data, providing senior leaders with the decision advantage they need. You Have: 

  • 5+ years of experience working with the Department of Defense or Intelligence Community 
  • 2+ years of experience at Combatant Command (CCMD) or its Component, Joint Staff or a theater Air Operations Center (AOC) 
  • Experience with analytic tools, databases, and situational awareness displays such as GCSS, FADE/MIST, Bodhi, Thresher, or Esri 
  • Knowledge of the capabilities and limitations of common military system messaging formats such as CMF IBS, OTH-G, Link-series or USMTF 
  • TS/SCI  clearance
  • Bachelor’s Degree 

Nice If You Have: 

  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment and respond in a timely fashion to changing requirements, priorities, and short deadlines, and work independently without considerable direction and mentorship
  • Knowledge of intelligence databases and tools such as MIDB/MARS, MEPED, Electronic Warfare Integrated Reprogramming Database (EWIRDB), Joint Targeting Toolbox (JTT), or Joint Mission Planning System (JMPS) 
  • Knowledge of Joint Publications 2.0 and CJCSI 3151.02
  • Knowledge of the General Order of Battle and General Military Intelligence 
  • Knowledge of Object Based Production 
  • Ability to evaluate and recommend effective solutions to address capability gaps within the CIP/COP in accordance with the Joint Capability Integrations and Development System (JCIDS) processes 
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentations and comfort with presenting to senior leaders in high-stress circumstances

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $73,000.00 to $166,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
