Job Description
Key Role:
Manage, administer, support, and enhance cloud environments, ensuring continuous improvement and rapid problem resolution. Apply advanced consulting skills or extensive technical expertise, including full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction, and mentor and supervise team members.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience designing and deploying scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Experience in DevOps, implementing and managing continuous integration and delivery pipelines
- Experience using tools, including Terraform and AWS Cloud Formation
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for container management
- Knowledge of services offered by AWS, Azure, and GCP
- Ability to automate cloud operations using scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell
- Ability to maintain security standards and compliance with industry regulations in the cloud environment
- TS/SCI clearance
- HS diploma or GED and 11+ years of experience in cloud engineering, Associate's degree and 7+ years of experience in cloud engineering, or Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of experience in cloud engineering
- IAT Level II Certification
Additional Qualifications:
- Knowledge of cloud security principles
- Ability to display a portfolio of relevant cloud projects or contributions to open-source projects
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect, MS Azure Associate, or Cloud Security Knowledge Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
