Cyber Technology Enabled Research Analyst

Key Role:

Conduct technical exploitation of SIGINT and discovery of intelligence related to networks, access, protocols, signals, communication mediums, and persona. Solve non-standard information requirements problems via a combination of analytic judgment and proven analytic practices. Acquire, validate, maintain, and scope data systematically to uncover schemes and scenarios that will provide historical conclusions and model future events and correlations. Apply experience with computer science, IT, mathematics, Cybersecurity, or other highly technical specialties typically combined with knowledge of SIGINT architectures and dataflows. Leverage experience with technical delivery, including network analysis, systems engineering and architecture, computer network operations, big data analytics, scripting and programming, network and system dataflow, and telecommunication technologies. Learn and apply emerging technologies to process metadata and content for discovery purposes, including data science, scripting, and automated workflows. Focus on both structured and unstructured data and analytics and leverage new techniques to extract information from multiple sources of data and overlaying with input leveraging technical subject matter expertise. 

Basic Qualifications:

-6+ years of experience with Electro-Magnetic Spectrum (EMS), SIGINT, or Cyberspace operations, training, planning, requirements, or analysis

-Knowledge of national, DoD, and Joint guidance on EMS, SIGINT, or Cyberspace, including unified command plan responsibilities and Joint Force operations

-Knowledge of modeling and simulation (M&S) tools and techniques for EMS, SIGINT, or Cyberspace

-TS/SCI clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience in wargaming or exercises with EMS, SIGINT, or Cyberspace operations

-Knowledge of processes and procedures for the development, implementation, and execution of operation plans and orders, including the DoD and its structures and relationships, Joint Staff, and interagency structures and relationships

-Ability to apply quantitative and qualitative analyses techniques and provide analytical methodology and reasoning to assess complex problems or define and clarify alternative solutions

-Ability to use data from models and tools to facilitate findings, as required

-Ability to organize and lead teams tasked to originate new ideas, projects, and methodologies

-Ability to execute projects and studies within established time constraints

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills to negotiate complex issues and maintain good working relationships

-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph preferred
