Funds and Operations Analyst

Key Role:

Track and analyze fiscal operations, logistics, travel, reconciliation, information management, record keeping, and general administrative support functions. Maintain competency practices and recommend and update those practices and functions to meet and exceed minimum levels of output in all Comptroller and Operational functional areas. Maintain program and administrative reference materials, effective, relevant, and executable support to exercises, and consistently review lessons learned to apply them to future efforts. Act as a Defense Travel System (DTS) Routing Official for the client's comptroller section and other offices, as directed. Apply analytical and budgetary techniques as part of the command DTS approval process for travel authorizations and vouchers. This position requires the ability to conduct client-sponsored travel within the EUCOM and AFRICOM AORs.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience with Joint Travel Regulations (JTR) policy and DoD Financial Management Regulations (FMR)
  • Knowledge of the DTS routing and approval process
  • Ability to travel within EUCOM and AFRICOM AORs
  • Secret clearance
  • BA or BS degree and 6+ years of experience with DTS or MA or MS degree and 3+ years of experience with DTS

Additional Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience with DoD FMR, JTR policy and DTS
  • Experience with exercise fiscal planning

Clearance:
