Geospatial Intelligence Subject Matter Expert

The Opportunity:

As a GEOINT Subject Matter Expert (SME), you use your specialized technical and functional experience and your attention to detail to develop reports, intelligence products, and analytic assessments to give your client the actionable intelligence and context they need. If you have strong analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset, we have an opportunity to use those skills to support our warfighters, senior leadership, and partners. 

 

As a GEOINT SME on our team, you will monitor the effective traceability of requirements and dissemination of derived GEOINT across the TCPED cycle via US and partner networks. You will perform preliminary analysis using one or more sources of intelligence disciplines, including Open Source (OSINT), Signals Intelligence (SIGINT), Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT), Measurements and Signatures (MASINT), Human Intelligence (HUMINT), and Counterintelligence (CI). You will produce analytic judgments and support the development of operation plans, orders, and force deployment data in support of crisis, contingencies, and theater exercises. You will recommend collection requirements and strategies to close gaps in the understanding of theater intelligence needs, while reviewing collection results and recommending adjustments to meet intelligence needs.Work with us as we provide the right information at the right time to support the critical needs of our warfighters.

You Have: 

  • 6+ years of experience with GEOINT Collection Management, including Combatant Command level

  • 6+ years of experience with supporting the DoD or intelligence organizations

  • Experience with using Analyst Notebook, CHATS, ESRI, KMLS, and geospatial intelligence tools and applications

  • Experience working in tactical, operational, and strategic intelligence centers

  • Knowledge of national, commercial, and airborne GEOINT sensors and capabilities

  • Ability to apply guidance and rulesets consistently to securely task and disseminate geospatial information

  • Active U.S. passport with at least 6 months validity for the purposes of visa applications

  • TS/SCI clearance

  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have: 

  • Experience in a GEOINT Cell

  • Experience with GEOINT exploitation

  • Experience with the European AOR

  • Knowledge of MS applications, BICES, ROME, CRATE, UNICORN, GETS, and IDEX

  • Knowledge of Tableau data visualization application

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to develop effective collection approaches

  • Ability to work weekends, evening shifts, or watch rotations, as required

  • Master’s degree 

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $73,000.00 to $166,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
