Job Description
Key Role:
Conduct media research with publicly available information (PAI) and commercial media research tools to produce assessments focused on media coverage of planned activities and emergent real-world events. Assess international news and other PAI to identify trends, patterns, and relationships that provide unique insights to address client requirements. Research multi-lingual online media, including both English and non-English outlets, data from web sites, electronic databases, including both free and subscription, interviews, company reports, including conference pamphlets and annual reports, government documents, including testimonies, reports, and commission studies, and scientific literature for research development and research support. Participate in and support public affairs planning and attend exercise planning conferences, meetings, and working groups, as needed.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience in joint combatant command assessments, including measures of performance and measures of effectiveness
Experience in business process improvement and change management
Experience with conducting open-source research, including tool-based research, and deriving insights from large, multi-source data sets
Experience with media monitoring and assessments tools, such as Meltwater or Zignal Labs
Experience with creating, delivering, and briefing assessments products to senior leaders
Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Ability to provide excellent client delivery, including product development and QA/QC, and pay strict attention to detail
TS/SCI clearance
Bachelor's degree
Active passport with at least 6 months validity for the purposes of visa applications
Additional Qualifications:
Experience with working in a joint military environment
Experience with working at a combatant command
Knowledge of EUCOM AOR preferred
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $73,000.00 to $166,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.Work Model
