Military Deception Planner

As a Military Deception (MILDEC) Planner, you’ll bring your consulting, analytical, and expertise to work on projects for Department of Defense client. You’ll assist command staff with analyzing, managing, coordinating, and assessing MILDEC and sensitive Information Operations (IO) requirements, programs, plans, and related activities. You’ll assist Command management with MILDEC functions, activities, planning, programming, and responsibilities and ensure command components and units are adequately prepared to meet their MILDEC tasking and coordinate activities across the Command staff. You’ll coordinate the analysis required for MILDEC and IO planning and collaborate across Geographic Combatant Commands to enable security-based decision-making. You’ll be a trusted advisor to our clients, and we’ll look to you to identify, analyze, and evaluate complex systems, policies, processes, and function as a key member in the command MILDEC, IO, and sensitive activities' working groups. You’ll analyze policies, objectives, plans, and procedures relevant to the command MILDEC program, IO effects development, and synchronization of the clients functions with sensitive activities and special technical operation.

You Have: 

  • 3+ years of experience developing and integrating plans as an IO or MILDEC planner

  • Experience working in the European theater supporting the DoD

  • Experience coordinating operations or operational plans with or as part of a 4-star command

  • TS/SCI clearance

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Completion of a Joint MILDEC Training Course

  • Completion of a DoD OPSEC Training Course

Nice If You Have: 

  • Experience as a Special Technical Operations planner

  • Experience with integrating multiple IRCs into planning effort

  • Experience with MILDEC

  • Master’s degree

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
