Organizational Defense Travel Administrator

Key Role:

Provide both quantitative and qualitative defense travel analysis and recommendations to improve organizational performance through changes to strategy, organization structure, process, human capital and culture, information technology, enterprise cost reduction, management practices, and cost drivers. Consult on identifying and capitalizing on opportunities to improve client performance including policy, directive adherence, and mission achievement. Bolster improved Defense Travel operations and increase process efficiency. Examine systems and consult on the development of specific cost reduction solutions and business case analyses to support transformation efforts. Serve as a practitioner with more than one area of expertise in the Management Consulting pillars, as well as other functional communities.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience in the Defense Travel Administration and Defense Travel System (DTS) Administration
  • Knowledge of Inspector General requirements for Program Management
  • Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

  • Ability to travel anywhere in the United States and EUCOM or AFRICOM AORs
  • Possession of proficient use of the Microsoft Office suite of programs, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint
