Key Role:
Develop and execute quality improvement activities to support customer satisfaction, program performance, stakeholder engagement, and curriculum and training as a quality management team member. Conduct field observations and evaluations of Benefits Advisors (BAs) delivering support and services to service members, their families, and care providers at military installations throughout Europe. Develop and implement performance improvement activities based on quality evaluations. Provide the capabilities of the BA, including conducting all-day presentations to up to 50 attendees, conduct one on one interactions with service members and their families, and perform office operations, as needed. Support the training of new BA candidates by providing in-person instruction for two-week New Hire Training and conduct recertification events, as requested.
Basic Qualifications:
-Experience with the execution of the Veterans Affairs Military to Civilian Transition (MCT) programs
-Experience with conducting evaluation or testing of learning and performance support solutions against requirements
-Experience with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
-Knowledge of quality standards and methodologies and implementing quality management programs, including development of risk and issue mitigation strategies, such as corrective action plans
-Ability to prioritize and schedule site visits based on numerous criteria and submit pre-and post-travel documentation to relevant Booz Allen staff promptly
-Ability to work independently and effectively from a dispersed location, including attending standing weekly meetings with the quality team and regional team to discuss upcoming site visits, corrective action plans, hot spots, and other ad-hoc activities
-Public Trust clearance
-HS diploma or GED and 8 years of experience in a professional environment, AA or AS degree and 6 years of experience in a professional environment, or BA or BS degree and 4 years of experience in a professional environment
-Master Trainer and Quality Assurance Specialist Certification upon completion of the Internal Benefits Advisor training course
Additional Qualifications:
-Experience in working with VA, the US Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, Coast Guard, or National Guard and Reserves
-Knowledge of the military environment
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills, including speaking, reading, and writing in English
-Possession of excellent interpersonal skills to communicate with a wide diversity of people, including Booz Allen staff, such as Master Trainers, Region Leads, or QA Specialist and government POCs, field staff, and other BAs
-Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred
Clearance:
