Security Cooperation Program Analyst

The Opportunity:

As a Security Cooperation Program Analyst, you'll bring your deep knowledge of ground domain capabilities and security cooperation planning to solve problems for the client. You'll support development and implementation of Significant Security Cooperation Initiatives (SSCIs) and prepare, support, and track program recommendations. You'll use your skills and experience to develop multi-year plans and program recommendations to build partner nation ground force capabilities to support national security objectives. You'll develop, coordinate, implement, and track long-term security cooperation initiatives to build Allied and partner ground forces capabilities, to include infantry battle groups, maneuver forces, vehicles, and combat enablers.

You'll ensure security cooperation initiatives support the client's strategies and increase the collective combat capabilities of European Allies and partners. You'll apply your subject matter expertise to security cooperation and security assistance programs, policies, and guidance. You’ll coordinate planning and activities with foreign partners, component commands, combat support agencies, and U.S. country teams to properly plan and resource strategic and operational requirements. You’ll impact the work we do for the client's security cooperation enterprise and the solutions we deliver for our broader security cooperation team.

You Have:  

  • 4+ years of experience planning and implementing security cooperation programs
  • Experience with project coordination
  • Knowledge of land forces, ground domain, or infantry military capabilities
  • Knowledge of DoD campaign, country, and security cooperation plans
  • Ability to synthesize complicated policy, diplomatic, and programmatic information into succinct and coherent products for senior leaders
  • Ability to work on client site
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:  

  • Experience developing or implementing SSCIs
  • Experience with the European theater
  • Experience working with foreign partners, U.S. Embassy country teams, component commands, and combatant commands to develop collaborative security cooperation solutions
  • Knowledge of the building partner capacity (BPC) programs or training and equipment lists (TELs)
  • Knowledge of U.S. Code Title 10 and Chapter 16 Security Cooperation authorities
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Master's degree
  • Defense Security Cooperation University (DSCU) Security Cooperation Basic Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $81,800.00 to $186,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
