Tech-Enabled Intelligence Watch Officer

The Opportunity:

The problem facing the intelligence community (IC) is no longer how to get more data – it’s understanding how to turn the data they have into answers.  With critical thinking and flexibility, you quickly seek out the most relevant data sources, sift through the raw data, and deliver valuable intelligence, providing critical context to operations and supporting decision-making at the highest levels of a Command.  If you have an analytic mind, strong technical integration skills and a problem-solving mindset, we have an opportunity to use those skills to support our client.   

 

Further, as an Intelligence Watch Officer supporting our client executing its 24/7 mission, you will support the expanding expectations and missions as the client transitions to a warfighting footing. You'll be responsible for developing and presenting daily intelligence update briefs to General Officers and Flag Officers, maintaining awareness of on-going operations across the Combatant Command's Area of Responsibility (AOR), and providing indications and warnings in support of those operations. Additionally, you will support the client, as the intelligence representative to the client. You will also be an expert in executive level writing, briefing, and information conveyance to senior leaders. This position requires shift work, including days/nights/weekends and holidays, providing 24/7 client support.

You Have:  

  • Experience with conducting full data life cycle analysis to include requirements, activities and design

  • Experience with analytic tools, databases, and situational awareness displays, including ESRI ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Server, and SAFEHOUSE/IC-GIS Portal

  • Experience in working with data pertaining to understanding disposition of forces across domains, including ground, air, maritime, or cyber

  • Experience with operations center and analytic briefing processes and formats, including underlying and supporting data

  • Experience fusing GEOINT, SIGINT, and HUMINT data, employing data-driven analytics and with prioritizing data integration efforts for host site data based upon operational need

  • Experience with conveying various technical aspects to non-technical individuals

  • Ability to clean large data sets in preparation for use in diverse systems and tools

  • TS/SCI clearance

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Active U.S. passport with at least 6 months validity for the purposes of visa applications

Nice If You Have:  

  • Experience with incorporating ChatSurfer into workflows, CIP/COP, and dashboards and displays

  • Experience with working at a Combatant Command

  • Knowledge of the USEUCOM AOR to enable decision space dominance through timely and relevant intelligence assessments

  • Knowledge of Service C2, analytic, and CIP/COP systems and practices

  • Knowledge of intelligence collection systems or collection management processes and systems

  • Ability to apply critical thinking in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and intelligence support to current operations

  • Possession of excellent verbal and written presentation skills, including presenting to senior leaders in high-stress circumstances and process and technical explanation

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $73,000.00 to $166,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
