As a Technical Operations Planner, you’ll bring your subject matter expertise to work on projects for a Department of Defense client. You’ll conduct, coordinate, and integrate analysis and planning to support special operations plans, operations, activities, and targeting processes or systems. You’ll be a trusted advisor to our clients, and we’ll look to you to identify, analyze, and evaluate complex systems, policies, processes, develop plans, and integrate capabilities into planning efforts in various formats, including graphic, written, and verbal. You'll attend meetings and represent the client office to internal and interagency audiences, ensuring unity of effort, coordinated approaches, and appropriate vetting of concepts and applications. You'll provide specific input on strategic and operational plans independently and with minimum oversight, producing efficiencies and enabling you to maintain situational awareness for the client by coordinating laterally with a network of military and civilian professionals throughout the European area of operations, other Combatant Commands, the DoD, and the interagency. While focused on providing recommendations for best application of, and preparation for client capabilities, you'll also support the Security Manager as needed.

You Have:
3+ years of experience planning operations at a 2-star command or higher, including Service or Geographic Combatant Command
1+ years of experience conducting Special Technical Operations (STO) and Special Access Program (SAP) planning
Experience with Planning and Decision Aid Systems (PDAS)
Experience developing and presenting information and decision briefs to client senior leaders, including O-6 and higher, higher headquarters, and external stakeholders, clearly articulating detailed and nuanced scientific data for non-subject matter expert decision-makers verbally and in writing with no oversight
Experience coordinating SAP activities and plans
Knowledge of cyber, electronic warfare, and space operations and capabilities
Ability to coordinate laterally with a network of cyber and electronic warfare military and civilian professionals throughout the European area of operations, other Combatant Commands, the DoD, and the interagency community
TS/SCI clearance
HS diploma or GED

Completion of any Joint or Service Special Technical Operations Planner course
Completion of any Joint or Service targeting course
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
