Job Description
Key Role:
Conduct detailed Sensitive Activities (SA), Irregular Warfare (IW), and the tenants of Unconventional Warfare (UW) planning to support achievement of overarching Theater Campaign Plan objectives. Produce clear, concise, and effective SA/IW/UW detailed joint level plans and orders. Provide SA, IW, and UW doctrine, operations, policy, and authorities subject matter expertise and integration of lessons learned to support senior leader decision making. Maintain routine interface with SOCEUR Component and Apportioned forces, USSOCOM and Components, USEUCOM, and US Embassy Country Teams to ensure transparency and integration of planning efforts. Facilitate key partner IW/UW capability development with allied and partner representatives during conduct of focused workshops and conferences as required. Conduct and validate research and analysis and prepare information papers, decision papers, and briefings to inform client leadership. Maintain responsibility for general operational and crisis action planning and the conduct of general staff actions.
Basic Qualifications:
7+ years of experience with irregular warfare (IW) or unconventional warfare (UW) authorities as an industry or government professional or with specialized military work
Experience as a Special Operations field grade officer, warrant officer, or senior non-commissioned officer including U.S. Army Career Military Field or Military Occupational Specialty 18-series soldier or MARSOC Advanced Skills Element or Critical Skills Operator 0372 Raider
Experience working within U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) enterprise
TS/SCI clearance
Bachelor's degree
Advanced Special Operations Training Course (ASOTC) graduate
Additional Qualifications:
Experience conducting the Joint Planning Process preferred
Experience operating within the USEUCOM Area of Operations a plus
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
Special Warfare Training Course (SWTC), Jedburgh Individual Training Course (JITC) or ASOT Manager’s Course graduation preferred
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $81,800.00 to $186,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.Work Model
