Help Desk Operator

Key Role:

Provide expert customer service and interface with customers to resolve issues, establish accounts, track trouble tickets, and identify issues for resolution. Utilize checklists and acquired system knowledge to troubleshoot issues and resolve customer problems. Provide analytical products to identify trends, issues, and utilization rates, based on trouble ticket reports.  

Basic Qualifications:

  • Ability to convert technical jargon into terminology used by layman customers
  • Ability to provide superior customer service in stressful situations
  • Ability to read and grasp technical information
  • Secret clearance
  • Associate’s degree and 5+ years of experience working as a Help Desk Operator, or Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of experience working as a Help Desk Operator

Additional Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience working with U.S. Military or Department of Defense staff
  • Ability to pay strict attention to details
  • Ability to build relationships across an organization and interface with all levels of government and military personnel
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Possession of excellent organizational skills
  • Top Secret clearance

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $51,600.00 to $105,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
