As a Defense Mission Professional, you’ll support Joint Warfighting Development for the DoD. Work in a highly dynamic, fast-paced environment with aggressive project timelines, shaping the Future Joint Force. As an Operations Planner, you’ll serve as part of a Booz Allen team supporting a Joint client with developing military capabilities for multiple Combatant Command, Military Service, and coalition clients. You’ll track and analyze required actions for the development, delivery, or evaluation of mission products. You’ll plan, manage, and help synchronize complex interrelated tasks using an integrated work plan and a plan of actions and milestones. You’ll perform a variety of operational duties in a staff activity and perform specialized assignments with very little direction. You’ll prepare correspondence, schedules and assist in the preparation of documents supporting the development of contract deliverables and reports. You’ll work directly with senior personnel, program managers, and external organizations in the operational planning, synchronization, execution, and assessment of complex solutions.

You Have:
8+ years of experience with supporting DoD and military organization
4+ years of experience with operating on a Combatant Command, Joint, or Service headquarters staff or at Operational-level headquarters
Experience with Joint planning and operations
Experience with working on complex problems and synchronizing complex interrelated tasks
Experience in performing a variety of operational staff duties and specialized assignments with little direction
Secret clearance
Associate's degree
Nice If You Have:
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Project
Ability to write and communicate at the executive level in verbal and written formats
Ability to respond accurately and quickly to internal and external staff actions
Ability to develop and coordinate detailed staff packages
Ability to develop concise reports for briefings and deliver them to senior DoD leaders
Ability to interpret the intent of a client’s needs effectively and help to shape and form the solution by leveraging team capabilities
Top Secret clearance
Bachelor’s degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $58,300.00 to $133,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.Work Model
