Force Protection Exercise Subject Matter Expert

As a Defense Mission Professional, you’ll bring your consulting, analytical, strategic, tactical, technical, and Combatant and Component Command background to work on projects for our client. You’ll research, develop, analyze, and support the Force Protection Exercise Planning Cycle. You’ll help identify, analyze, and evaluate complex systems, policies, and processes related to foreign threats and security as part of joint missions.

You Have:  

  • 5+ years of experience in the Department of Defense or government agencies

  • 3+ years of experience as an Antiterrorism Officer

  • 3+ years of experience with strategic level briefing, crafting presentations, and senior level report writing and agreements

  • Experience with all facets of Force Protection Planning, including supervising, coordinating, advising, collecting, interpreting, and providing Force Protection guidance, and the coordination, interoperability, development and execution of Force Protection Plans exercises

  • Experience with Task Management Tool and Microsoft Office Products, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint

  • Knowledge of the policies and procedures of physical security, combating terrorism, law enforcement operations, information security, and operations security

  • Ability to coordinate with host nation leadership, be a team oriented individual, and adapt and fit into a dynamic, changing, and diverse workspace

  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the year

  • TS/SCI clearance

  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:  

  • Experience in Security Forces, Military Police, Law Enforcement, or Physical Security

  • Experience as an Antiterrorism Officer at the Combatant or Component Command level

  • Experience with coordination efforts for protection of force conducting multi-national level exercises

  • Experience in the coordination, interoperability, development, and execution of Force Protection Plans exercises at a Combatant Command or Component Command

  • Experience with Global Force Management

  • Experience with military or contract working dogs

  • Experience with personal security details

  • Knowledge of U.S. customs operations and inter-agency security agreements

  • Possession of excellent interpersonal relationship skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • DoD Certification as Antiterrorism Officer Level II

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $58,300.00 to $133,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
