Mission Assurance Assessment Subject Matter Expert

As a Mission Assurance Assessment Subject Matter Expert, you’ll bring your consulting, analytical, and technical expertise to a Combatant Command. You’ll use your extensive anti-threat and force protection background to work on projects for a Joint Security Division client. You’ll develop, analyze, assess, plan, and support client needs to Mission Assurance directives. You’ll help identify, analyze, and evaluate complex systems, policies, and processes as part of the United States Central Commands (USCENTCOM) Area of Responsibility. 

You’ll impact the work we do for USCENTCOM Mission Assurance and Assessments and the solutions we deliver for military missions, defense planning, national security, strategic planning, defense mission planning, and national defense strategy.

You Have:  

  • 5+ years of experience in the DoD

  • 5+ years of experience with providing programmatic analysis input, written deliverables, and verbal presentation at the Combatant Command or Service Component level

  • Experience with conducting risk or vulnerability assessments and analyses and recommending action or mitigation to eliminate vulnerabilities to risks and missions and forces

  • Experience with integrating anti-threat and force protection (AT/FP) and protection programs into a Mission Assurance (MA) construct, including providing MA training and preparing and briefing MA to senior leaders

  • Experience with operational planning support for vulnerability or MA assessments, including researching, developing, and maintaining assessment schedules, providing task critical asset analysis, or pairing and developing assessment planning products, including Letters of Instruction, Assessment Focus Statements, Program of Action and Milestones, All Hazard Threat Assessments, Detailed Information Requirements, and Concept of Operations briefings

  • Knowledge of MA databases or programs of record, including task critical assets and risk or vulnerability mitigation tracking

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint

  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time

  • TS/SCI clearance

  • Bachelor’s degree

Nice If You Have:  

  • Experience in a Security Forces, Military Police, Law Enforcement, or Physical Security role

  • Completion of a DoD Mission Assurance Assessment Course

  • DoD Anti-Threat Level II Certification

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $58,300.00 to $133,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
