Operations Research and Systems Analyst

Key Role:

Support the conduct of analysis for the range of social and human behaviors and dynamics that impact military operations in the United States Central Command area of operations. Serve as an analyst for conducting operational human dynamics and social analysis in support of operations, planning efforts, and analytic projects. Conduct modeling and simulation activities using a range of available tools and software suites, to include SENTURION and ATHENA, to support analytic activities of non-kinetic early phases of operations of existing and emergent plans. Provide the expertise and experience to enable modeling low intensity conflict focusing on population perceptions to Diplomatic, Information, Military, Economic (DIME) activities and actions. Design, develop, and apply a variety of data collection and decision analytics processes, including the employment of mathematical, statistical, and other analytic methods combined with military judgment. Develop information displays, decision briefings, analytical papers, and facilitate senior leadership decisions. This position is not available for remote delivery and is located in Tampa, FL.

Basic Qualifications:

-10+ years of experience with Operations Research and Human Dynamics Analysis

-Experience with Social Dynamics or Human Dynamics analysis as they pertain to the DoD or the geo-political operational environment

-Experience and proficiency in using the SENTURION or ATHENA models

-Experience with the Joint Operations Planning Process

-Experience with developing analytic methodologies, metrics, and decision criteria

-Experience with using automated statistical packages in support of analysis projects

-Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite

-Ability to prepare and present senior leadership briefings and papers

-TS/SCI clearance required

-MA or MS degree required
