Cybersecurity Enterprise Architect, Lead

As a Disaster Recovery and Enterprise Architect, you will be managing the overall strategy for disaster recovery and align it with business continuity planning. Apply a comprehensive knowledge of site, system, and application DR and system high availability planning. Maintain responsibility for comprehending the client’s infrastructure capacity in each datacenter and ensuring the capacity is being used efficiently, while maintaining enough buffer for failover events. You’ll identify and secure back-up systems, written policies, and procedures and leverage the latest trends in technology, including Cloud and Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS) to help develop creative solutions that meet the needs of the client.

This is your change to develop an in-depth understanding of the client’s organization IT assets to anticipate potential security risks, identify areas of weakness, and specify and plan for the security tools needed to respond to possible security breaches. Maintain an awareness of market and technology trends to bring best of breed solutions to the client. Apply specific functional, working, and general industry knowledge. Develop or contribute to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Develop enterprise security strategies.

You’ll collaborate with information security specialists to conduct threat, risk, and vulnerability assessments and recommend DR strategies of both the IT and critical infrastructures supporting the business processes.  

You Have:

  • 10+ years of experience with disaster recovery engineering and policy
  • 5+ years of experience with Enterprise Architecture (EA) or as an Architect in a functional or technical area
  • Experience with developing data storage resilience strategies and recovery procedures to ensure that critical business functions can resume within defined time frames, data loss is minimized, and failed systems are repaired or quickly replaced
  • Experience with designing and developing the framework for system and application dependencies to establish recovery time objectives or recovery point objectives with cost-benefit analysis
  • Knowledge of architecture at varying levels, including enterprise, segment, security, and solution architectures
  • Ability to think critically and innovatively about the security solutions that can keep data safe while helping a business to flourish.
  • Ability to effectively work and communicate with people with a wide range of expertise, cultures, and capabilities including business leaders, peers, vendors, and staff members
  • Ability to travel up to 70% of the time
  • Bachelor’s degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience building reference architectures and developing presentations and briefings to address inquiries and topics of interest to client
  • Experience with workstream integration to achieve results across Data Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, DevSecOps, and Security and Privacy, securing cloud-based systems
  • Experience with information security and assessment frameworks, including ISO 27001/2, COBIT, or NIST
  • Possession of excellent interpersonal skills
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • CISSP, CCSP, CISA, CISM, CompTIA Security+, GSEC, OSCP, or CEH certifications a plus
