Job Description
Key Role:
Develop and implement security solutions in alignment with a security strategy. Maintain an awareness of market and technology trends to bring best of breed solutions to the client. Apply specific functional, working, and general industry knowledge. Develop or contribute to solutions for a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Work independently with some guidance and review or guide the activities of junior employees.
Basic Qualifications:
4 years of experience with the Military
2 years of experience with DoD distributed modeling and simulation and systems integration
Experience with the principles of virtual and constructive environment creation and existing family of systems, including MTWS, JCATS, JASF, OneSAF, ARES and BVI, ExCIS, Virtual Battlespace 3-4, TBMCS, and CAC2S
Experience with performing high level systems administration in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 7 and up
Experience with installing new simulation systems that may be introduced and integrated into the organization’s simulation inventory
Ability to configure, maintain, update, and monitor Red Hat using Red Hat Package Manager (RPM)
Ability to use Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) and Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) and apply Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) to maintain Information Assurance (IA) compliance
Secret clearance
HS diploma or GED
CompTIA Certification, including Security+, Network +, or Cisco Certified Network Administrator (CCNA)
Additional Qualifications:
Knowledge of Marine Corps Training and Education Command (TECOM), Marine Air Ground Task Force Training Center (MAGTF-TC), and associated Battle Simulation Centers (BSC), Marine Corps Synthetic Training Environment, and Force Design 2030 (FD2030)
TS/SCI clearance
Linux Certification, including RHCSA, CompTIA Network, Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) on Windows Office 2010 or higher, Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA), or CISSP Certification
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $58,300.00 to $133,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.Work Model
