Aviation Operations Integration Analyst

Key Role

Advise and assist on matters related to effective integration of Marine, U.S. joint and multinational aviation assets into operational plans and exercises in the Indo-Pacific theater of operations. Provide analysis of aviation C2, unmanned aerial systems, and multi-sensor surveillance and reconnaissance support to expeditionary, joint, and combined operations requirements. Provide analytical, technical, and aviation logistics analysis and recommendations to inform operational plan and Joint Exercise Life Cycle planning efforts for Marine Expeditionary Force-level exercises. Monitor Force Design issues and developments related to the transformation of aviation capabilities in the Indo-Pacific Area of Operations to enable the alignment of aviation resources to mission priorities, tasks, and requirements.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in Marine or Naval aviation operations in the Indo-Pacific Area of Operations

  • 2+ years of experience as a planner on a flag officer or general officer staff, including preparing and briefing products at the O-6 and FO/GO level

  • Knowledge of Marine aviation capabilities and ongoing force transformation efforts as part of Force Design

  • Knowledge of military organization, capabilities, and culture of joint US Forces and multinational partner allies in the Indo-Pacific region

  • Ability to advise leadership on ways and means to achieve exercise planning objectives with limited aviation resources and within a fiscally responsible exercise construct

  • Ability to clearly communicate, orally and in writing, complex and dynamic aviation topics to senior leaders and respective staffs, and to work with senior level staff members at the US joint and multinational level

  • TS/SCI clearance

  • Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Graduate of Intermediate Level School, including Command and Staff College or sister service equivalent

  • Graduate of Weapons and Tactics Instructor Course or Navy Strike Fighter Tactics Instructor program preferred

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,300.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
