Facilities Analyst

Key Role:  

Perform periodic engineering and facilities analyses, planning, design reviews, and studies about existing infrastructure and proposed military construction (MILCON), FSRM, and HNFP, and base, station, and facility sustainment activities. Provide survivability enhancement recommendations for real property, facility, and range infrastructure investment and long-term military construction programs' infrastructure. Provide continued research and analysis during subsequent MILCON working groups, meetings, and boards. Follow and track MILCON projects through congressional approval. Analyze proposed projects for impact on mission effectiveness. Analyze proposed projects for impact on mission effectiveness and provide recommendations for facility and infrastructure to meet both current mission and projected future mission requirements. Provide pre-event planning, on-site coordination, and post-event activities for designated government and interagency conferences, symposia, and workshops. Evaluate state-of-the-art facility management and planning tools or programs for potential. Conduct assessments of physical and functional characteristics, design analysis, development of Measures of Performance (MOP), Measures of Effectiveness (MOE), and operational characteristics, integrated process development, continuity of operations, feasibility studies, and assessments. Facilitate Engineer working groups between multiple agencies and client levels.  

  

Basic Qualifications:  

  • Experience in MILCON, Facility Sustainment, Renovation, and Modernization (FSRM), and special project programs
  • Experience in military facility initiatives and programs
  • Experience in conducting staff-level boards, bureaus, centers, cells, and working groups to coordinate requirements from multiple stakeholders and advocate for those requirements as needed
  • Knowledge of construction project design drawings, standard US Government facilities, and real estate forms, including DD form 1391, USFJ form 22, or USFJ form 41
  • Knowledgeable on DoD networks for information gathering
  • Knowledge of OPLANS and CONPLANS at the component level
  • Ability to work with senior staff members at the Joint, Combined, Service, and Tactical levels
  • Secret clearance  
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Logistics, or Business

  

Additional Qualifications:  

  • Experience with using Microsoft Office Suite, program and project management principles, process improvement, and mission planning
  • Knowledge of the Unified Facilities Criteria 
  • Knowledge of the US Marine Corps Infrastructure Reset Strategy
  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $58,300.00 to $133,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
