This is an opportunity to create efficiency as a knowledge management consultant, you’ll use your expertise to help teams better access, retrieve and distribute information at the speed of need.  From unrealized potential to systemic challenges, the team you support will provide your client with a holistic view of their organization to transform their practices.

As a Knowledge Manager you’ll bring your information technology, systems support, international planning and event administration expertise to work on two projects for US Space Command. The first is Global Sentinel (GS), US Space Command's premier international space security cooperation event. The second is Real World Events where partner nations collaborate on space domain activities. You’ll support information and knowledge flow among 25+ partner nations, serve as the All Partner Access Network (APAN) event administrator, set up all chat/VOIP events, support risk reduction testing and the GS capstone main event, answer US and partner nation requests for information, administer all email and work flow accounts, provide input and analysis to work product documents. You’ll be a trusted advisor to our clients, and we’ll look to you to identify, analyze, and evaluate complex systems, policies, processes. As a team member you'll contribute to the work we do related to international security cooperation and the solutions we deliver for the United States and like-minded partner nations.

You Have: 

  • Experience with implementing knowledge management strategies

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and developing and presenting PowerPoint briefs that highlight issues and solutions to higher leadership

  • Experience with building, managing, and setting the direction of the knowledge management framework and knowledge management team members

  • Experience with APAN design and administration

  • Experience with creating, capturing, organizing, and assessing knowledge assets for enterprise use

  • Experience with leading the capture and sharing of the practice knowledge base

  • Experience with designing and maintaining a knowledge system and library accessible to domestic and international stakeholders

  • Ability to obtain a security clearance

  • Bachelor’s degree

Nice If You Have: 

  • Ability to identify ways to improve processes using knowledge management concepts

  • Ability to brief and provide instructions to large audiences

  • Ability to plan and support planning conferences

  • Secret clearance

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $81,800.00 to $186,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
