HUMINT Desk Officer

Key Role:

Provide subject matter policy expertise regarding modernization strategies and collection priorities. Ensure operations compliance with laws, policies, and regulations. Identify and recognize information that impacts or influences DoD equities and ensure its interests are protected. Support representation to operational entities, both internal and external, to DoD. Provide analytical support for policy analysis, resource management, source validation, and operational risk assessments. Present oral, written, and visual presentations to senior-level government and military leadership. Compose documents, briefings, and whitepapers and support other staff actions based on approved recommendations to the client.

Basic Qualifications:

-6+ years of experience as a HUMINT collector

-Knowledge of full spectrum HUMINT activities and DoD HUMINT policy

-Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam

-HS diploma or GED

-Completion of one of the following courses: HT-JCOE - Source Operations Course, HT-JCOE - Defense Advanced Tradecraft Course, Field Tradecraft Course, Operations Tradecraft Course, or Military Operations Training Course


Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
