Cybersecurity Engineer, Senior

Key Role:

Design, develop, and recommend integrated security system solutions to ensure proprietary and confidential data and systems are protected. Provide technical engineering support for integrated security systems. Interface with the client in the strategic design process to translate security and business requirements into technical designs. Develop Cybersecurity requirements, policy standards analysis, best practices, guidance, and procedures for combat systems. Conduct Cybersecurity-related research, analysis, and coordination activities in support of DoD Cyber assurance and policy efforts on multiple classification levels. Perform analysis of Cybersecurity, intelligence, and IT policy gaps for combat systems. Develop documentation of Cybersecurity requirements, gap analysis, threat analysis, system engineering, risk assessment, and mitigation for combat systems.

Basic Qualifications:

-5 years of experience with Navy combat systems

-Knowledge of Cybersecurity, military system specifications, and DoD Cybersecurity policies for both land-based and afloat tactical systems

-Top Secret clearance

-HS diploma or GED

-DoD8570.01 IAM Level II or Level III Certification

Additional Qualifications:

-7 years of experience with submarine-launched ballistic missiles (SLBMs)

-Knowledge of combat weapons systems

-TS/SCI clearance

-BA or BS degree


Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.
